How beautiful to have guests watch their plant grow as your love grows. How amazing to know that all these plants/flowers are growing and being cared for by your loved ones. There are many different variations of offering these favors to guests.
Flower or Plant Seeds
This is super cute as you can incorporate them into seating assignments, lay them on the table settings, or offer them strictly as favors some creative way. There are even ones you can get custom made. The plus about this idea is that they are small so they can be easily used in just about any way you can imagine. These can be so easily DIY’d. Seeds are next to nothing to purchase and kraft paper or newspaper can be used to make the envelopes.

Planted Flowers or Plants
Just as with the seed idea, the potted plant or flower ideas are just as plenty. Succulents are a great option as they are beautiful, hardy and easy to care for. They look very nice worked into the place setting. Some succulents can be added to the bouquets to tie it all in. There are many different shades of green, blue and purples depending on the kind. Mini flower pots can be painted with wedding colors. Quotes can be hand written on the sides. Just a simple flower in a terracotta planter is just as perfect.
Alternatively, artificial ones look just as nice and can be decor anywhere and it will be OK if not watered. Perfect for an office desk!
Personally, I think this is a better idea for those that don’t have a green thumb (real or artificial). Granted, I know I could plant seeds given to me. However, with a busy work schedule, two kids and very little free time, it just wouldn’t get done. Something to ponder when deciding on green favors.
