Memorable Wedding Invitations

Memorable Wedding Invitations

There are umpteen options for wedding invitations. Formal, rustic, plain, bedazzled, tied with a bow, burlap-look, photo collages, acrylic, velum, foil, laser cut, etc., etc. This doesn’t need to be an overwhelming decision. The process should be, well, a memorable. one.

My suggestion is to go outside the box. Have FUN picking them out. Talk about how to customize them and put together the perfect one. It shouldn’t be a just a thing to check off the list. This is a keepsake to hold onto forever. This goes in that special box that has all the wedding memorabilia. Ironic, go outside to box for it to eventually go inside a box (but, a very sentimental one).

When it comes time to addressing them all, have a girls party. Each girl can write five or ten out in their own style and decorate the backside. Add some sharpies, calligraphy pens, metallic markers, stickers, embellishments, music and cocktails….now that is a fun time. I want to go to THAT party. To make that party even more memorable, invite the guys and have them address a few. All the men I know have horrible handwriting. Those few invitations will be, let’s say, interesting. Have them go at it bedazzling the envelope. Hopefully they won’t all have sports teams spelled out in rhinestones. Kinda funny if they did, though.

Here are some unique ones that I would remember, as a bride or as a guest. All of these can easily be some DIY fun.
