DIY Repurposed Liquor Bottle Centerpieces – Nailed It!

Brides shared their DIY centerpieces using repurposed liquor bottles and various fillers and NAILED IT! Whether it be boho, vintage, or rustic, they both look fabulous at a DIY cost and are all so unique from each other. Of course, less the cost of the Crown Royal liquor.

See product links below for supplies, ones listed on Etsy already repurposed, and a bunch of tutorial posts/videos for inspiration.

What is so great about Facebook wedding groups is you get so many ideas from others trying to do something similar or even better, advice with pictures. They say it takes a village to raise a child (so true). Well, in the wedding world, it takes a supportive community to have your dream day, affordably. Advice taken and the friendships made along the way are priceless.

If you are a bride working with a tight budget and need some support planning, check out the Facebook group, Weddings on a tight budget (5k and below). This is a PRIVATE group (only members can see posts), so you may need to answer some questions and acknowledge the rules before your membership request is approved. Although I am not a bride, I love to provide feedback on posts and share ways to save money. I received approval for sharing the two DIY projects below from each bride in post comments.

Future Bride, Bobbi, used Crown Royal bottles, painted white and terracotta, with some boho pampas grass from Amazon added. Total Cost: under $50!!! I love the burnt-orange bottles mixed with the white and a hint of turquoise from the rabbit tails. They all come together perfectly for the bohemian feel.

Other suggestions included doing another coat of paint, adding texture by mixing baking soda in with the 2nd coat or sanding for a textured look, adding twine, ribbon, or beads around the bottleneck, and brushing powdered gold on the edges.

Future Bride, Nicole, did hers with some sunflowers, set on a wooden round, with candlelight. She plans on adding photos from her engagement to look like the bottle label, so creative. I like the frosted bottle, with the contrasting yellow. These definitely have the rustic theme look going, especially with the smaller arrangements on each side.

See Christy’s Corner Channel showing the frosting technique in the video, Frosted Wine Bottles DIY.

More Tutorials on Repurposing

I do not collaborate with these bloggers/posters in exchange for anything. I included these to give you some technique ideas for your project.

Using milk paint & costume jewelry: see Christina’s blog tutorial, Repurpose a Crown Royal Liquor Bottle. I love the cross added to the front for a whole new meaning. The costume jewelry chosen definitely adds an old-fashion look.

Using chalk paint: see the YouTube channel, All Things Handcrafted, for a great instructional video DIY: Bottle painting/ Upcycle Glass bottles with easy to make Chalk Paint!!! The video has music with printed instructions on the screen which is nice to pause and follow along.

Using glue and spray paint: see Holly Grace’s website post, Trash To Treasure. I like her idea at the end to possibly add something on the front using a Cricut.

Arranging dried flower bouquets: see the YouTube channel, Afloral, for a tutorial on How to Make a Simple Dried Flower Bouquet.

Drying Flowers: see the YouTube channel, Botanical Journal, tutorial video, HOW TO DRY FLOWERS/Easy Way to Dry Flowers at Home. Check out her dried flower earrings! Love them! After watching this, I want dried flower bouquets hanging everywhere!

Various ways on repurposing bottles: see YouTuber, Suzie on the farm’s, fun instructional video Trash to Treasure/Whiskey & Wine bottle decor. Check out the booklet she goes through to choose her transfer, love it.

Where to Purchase Ones Already Made

Clicking the image will bring you to the product listing to purchase. Please contact the seller directly through Etsy to request and inquire if they will make multiple. These are gorgeous, but not at a DIY price. If you’re looking to save time, these may be for you. Although, I’m guessing you’re a DIY-er or you wouldn’t be reading this post 🙂

The URLs shared below in the ‘CLICK TO VIEW ITEM ON ETSY’ are affiliate links. I earn a commission for purchased items only.

SEE PRODUCT LINKS BELOW FOR NEEDED SUPPLIES

While I’d LOVE to know and share where each item was purchased, collected from, how much it cost, etc., it’s just not in the cards. However, below are items from Amazon that are similar and can give you ideas for individual supplies needed. However, these items added up will not cost you anywhere near under $50.00.

I encourage you to find a better price either on Amazon or other stores. Better yet, shop secondhand at the larger thrift stores, there usually is a craft section and you can get tons of bottles well. Keep in mind when thrift shopping, it is unlikely you will find a bunch of the exact same shaped bottles. Changing up the kinds on each table adds character! I’m all about having a wedding UNIQUE to YOU!

I’m not exactly sure where these brides gathered all the Crown Royal bottles. Maybe they enjoyed each one with their fiance; or with loved ones, I’m not going to ask though. Curiosity kills the cat. See Crown Royal’s website to purchase.

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualified purchases.
