Newlyweds – Take Pictures of Each Other and Selfies!

Capture joy from your point of view – take pictures of each other and selfies together. Your new husband will smile or giggle or smirk the way he does ONLY TO YOU. Even if only to get one – a steamy shot of “those eyes” for your desk (best picture EVER!!).

Sure, there are amazing moments the photographer captures, and I’m not suggesting forgoing hiring one. However, the only way to capture how your soulmate looks in your eyes is IF HE IS!

Definitely do this if you are having a “first look” and also right after the ceremony. There are really lots of opportunities to get some shots, and you will remember those moments for years to come when looking at the photos.

Have your husband tuck his cell in his suit pocket for this purpose only. Set a few reminders on it. I recommend keeping it on vibrate only. It would be bad if “THAT person who didn’t shut their ringer off” is your husband. 🙂 Or, who knows, maybe it would be the belly laugh of the night for all I know.

Now I don’t mean go all out with poses and a selfie stick. Spend a few minutes here and there to get “your” point of view. Respectfully, let the photographer do their work.

Also, do this when the day is over, when you finally get to your room, now married. Your first night as husband and wife, alone, captured…..at your discretion. Enjoy!
