There are a ton of different ways to find yard sales near you. The old-fashioned way is getting the classified section out of the newspaper and circling all the ones you want to go to and planning out your route. We have graduated to finding them now on your cell phone or computer. If you are an impulsive yard-saler like me, you can literally just drive around residential areas early on Saturday mornings and follow those signs. What is super annoying is following signs deep into a neighborhood only to find out it was last weekend and they didn’t take the signs down (don’t do this!).
If you want a more planned morning, there are many yard sale-finding apps. Go to Google Play or iTunes and type in Yard Sales – there are a bunch that pop up.
The only app I use is Yard Sale Treasure Map. It is so simple. Just open the app, and the map appears with red pins of all the yard sales around you. You don’t have to enter any info, it uses your current location (be sure to have the location feature turned on). Tap the red pin to get the address, tap again and the description appears, click navigate, and done. Repeat after perusing through that one. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
