I’m from New England, hence titling this “Awesome”. I refrained from titling this “Wicked Awesome Facebook Buy/Sell Groups“. Just a little chuckle for me. Over the past year of working on this blog and being totally (lol) obsessed on Facebook with everything wedding, I thought I’d share some great buy/sell groups I’ve discovered. Of course, you will need to request to join each one.
There is a huge advantage of joining as many wedding buy/site groups as possible (either locally, nationally or both). The more groups joined, the more results appear when doing a search in the Marketplace. No need to go to each individual group. There are filter options to show only local pickup items.
Also, If you see something you love and it’s a bit far or across the country, offer to pay extra to have it shipped. USPS Priority Mail flat rates are pretty cheap. Take this advice if you are shopping local: when interested in an item, be ready to pick it up immediately. That way the item is basically yours. Most sellers give preference to buyers that will pick up right away. Being a seller, it is a blessing when someone offers this as the back and forth and no shows is so aggravating and such a waste of valuable time.
